Paul Feig's School For Good And Evil Gets Netflix Geeked Week Trailer
Netflix premiered its first look at School of Good and Evil during Geeked Week.
Based on the best-selling book series of the same name by author Soman Chainani, The School of Good and Evil is about a group of boys and girls who are taken to an institution where they are trained to become fairytale-like heroes and villains. Netflix debuted the first trailer for its upcoming Paul Feig-directed movie during the second day of Geeked Week.
The series follows the adventures of best friends Sophie and Agatha, who are kidnapped to the School for Good and Evil. After a series of misfortunes, they try to figure out a way to return home, and their friendship is put to the ultimate test. Check out the teaser below.
The film stars Sofia Wylie (Marvel Rising) as Agatha and Sophia Anne Caruso (Broadway's Beetlejuice) as Sophie as well as Charlize Theron as Lady Lesso, Michelle Yeoh as Professor Anemone, Kerry Washington as Professor Dovey, with Laurence Fishburne as The School Master.
The screenplay is written by David Magee, Laura Solon, Malia Scotch Marmo, and Chainani. Universal Pictures was initially set to release the film, but Netflix took over in 2020. Production began in 2021 in Belfast and wrapped later that year.
The School of Good and Evil premieres on Netflix this August.
