The Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy will feature the biggest Crash Bandicoot games (so, probably not Nitro Kart) with updated visuals. The game is slated for an unspecified time next year. For more info, check out the developer's blog post about the game.

That's wicked, all classics should have this, leave everything else alone, just make them look nicer. The music and gameplay in older games are fine as they are.

What we need is a new Crash Team Racing. Sad that the only good kart racing game in this day is Mario Kart. But I'm ready to rap battle some veggies and animals to get to the bathroom though!

Normally, I despise remasters. I'm completely against the while idea, but with Crash Bamdicoot being my favorite platformer of all time, and the amount of time it's been since I've played those games, I will DEFINITELY be buying the collection! So excited! It will probably feel like a btand new game to me since it's been so long.

@sladakrobot: Considering Sony closed Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool back in 2012, I don't know who they'd have develop it.

Super excited for the Wipeout and Crash collections, love those games. Parappa not so much, mostly because I've never played them but this might be my chance to do so.

And Spyro the Dragon continues to be left out in the cold but hey, I can deal with that. I'm only interested in Parappa and Wipeout only, Crash is boring to me but ether way, this collection is a day one purchase.

What I see with the Play Station console line is that we've been given upgrades in graphical processing power on each generation instead of new ways to play (PS VR aims to change this); and it shows on the Crash Bandicoot upgrade trailer.

Besides, the original graphics were and are part of the title's charm and a testament of the software engineering prowess that pulled them off.

My experience with the PS2 was repetitive compared to the one I had got with the first console with the exception of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas, specially SA since the PSOne couldn't have probably been able to handle them.

Sony (and Microsoft) tried to incorporate motion controls into their respective hardware quite lacklustrely in an effort to breath new air into their gaming experience.

I've never played Crash, but it's on the list of "games I'm curious about and will eventually get to" list. This looks like the place to start!

@JoePiervincenti: You're in for a treat.

Maybe if this does well, we'll get a new Nitro Kart. The system needs some party/multiplayer games and this would be a GREAT addition.

Oh for God's sake! Why couldn't they have remade Wipeout 1, 2 and 3? Ya know, the DECENT ones.

Don't get me wrong, HD, Fury and 2048 were ok, but not a patch on the originals.

@domiddian: Absolutely agree. Of all the announcements made, this was the one and only that I was disappointed with.

@domiddian: 1 and XL were the greatest IMO. The PSP and Vita games were also decent. I thought HD/Fury was junk to be honest. Just not fun for some reason.

@Rufus_the_rat: Yeah Pulse and Pure were actually really good games. They just remade them with HD and Fury, but for some reason, something felt off about the PS3 version, it just didn't feel like Wipeout. Did you ever play Wipeout 3? It wasn't as good as XL (or 2097 as it was known in Europe), but was better than the first game. The first game is still really important though.

@domiddian: Seriously, Wipeout HD tracks were pretty boring with less anti-grav roller coaster sections than I ever expected for a Wipeout game.

@domiddian: I still play Wipeout 3 on my 18 year old PSOne.

Terrific game.
