Panzer General III Unveiled

Mattel Interactive has announced Panzer General III: Scorched Earth. The fourth game in the series not only builds on the 3D engine from last year's Panzer General 3D Assault, but also adds improved 3D effects and 100 new units. The game's four new campaigns let players take command of either the Germans or the Russians on the eastern front of World War II. By incorporating a total of over 250 branching scenarios, the new dynamic campaign mode will ensure that every campaign is unique. Additionally, a new overhead map interface will make it easier for players to command their units from a single perspective.

Panzer General III is scheduled for a September release.
