Like Overwatch itself, the game that often gets compared to it--Paladins--is not coming to the Nintendo Switch--at least not yet.

Hi-Rez co-founder Todd Harris told DualShockers that a Switch versions of Paladins is not in the works "at this time." The current focus for the studio is on the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 versions. Harris didn't provide any further details on why Hi-Rez isn't looking to bring Paladins to Switch at this time.

In the case of Overwatch, game director Jeff Kaplan said Blizzard would need to "revisit performance" to bring Overwatch to Switch, and he said he was worried that supporting four platforms instead of three could be too big of a task right now.

A free game, Paladins is currently available in beta on Xbox One and PS4, and also through Steam Early Access on PC.

Also in the DualShockers interview, Harris briefly discussed Microsoft's Project Scorpio console, saying it "looks like great technology." The team is looking into potentially supporting the console, but have not committed to anything yet; it wasn't said if the studio has a Project Scorpio development kit.

Scorpio launches this holiday season, and we expect to learn more about it at E3 next month, if not sooner.
