Overwatch, Diablo, and More In-Game Goodies Revealed for 2016's BlizzCon Virtual Ticket
An Overwatch skin, a Diablo pet, and more is included in this year's grab bag of in-game goodies.
At BlizzCon, Blizzard normally offers players a grab bag of in-game goodies, and this year's comes with a bunch of stuff for Overwatch, Diablo III, and the developer's other games. Blizzard posted a sneak peek of the included bonuses on the BlizzCon website.
The digital goodies include a BlizzCon-themed Bastion skin for Overwatch, a Murloc companion for Horde and Alliance players in World of Warcraft, and a 20th Anniversary Diablo pet for Diablo III. Additionally, BlizzCon attendees and buyers of the Virtual Ticket get a Welcome Inn Card Back for Hearthstone, a Nexus Tiger Mount for Heroes of the Storm, and mystery goodies for Starcraft II--more details will be announced later. It's important to note that the Diablo III pet is only for the PC/Mac versions, while the Bastion skin can be redeemed for PS4 and Xbox One, in addition to PC. To claim it on console, you need to link your Battle.net account with your PSN or Xbox Live account. You can learn more about how to do that here.
The Virtual Ticket costs $40, but if you're going to BlizzCon, all you need to do to get the goodies is redeem the Digital Bonuses code that came with your ticket. In addition to the virtual bonuses, attendees get a bunch of physical stuff as well, including a BlizzCon beer stein and an inflatable Reinhardt hammer. You can check them out for yourself here.
