Overblood Sequel Announced

Thursday in Fukuoka, Japan, Riverhill Software held a media event to show off its new PlayStation 3-D adventure game, Overblood 2. The game features polygonal backgrounds and CG-rendered characters.

Called Battle for Condor, players lead the game's main character, Akaan, through a much bigger world than that of the first game, with wide-open spaces and more environments to explore.

Overblood 2 will be released in Japan during the first half of 1998. It is the sequel to Overblood, which is available in the US from Electronic Arts.
