Ouya hits 25,000 registered developers
Platform reaches "major milestone"; store now have more than 465 games and apps available to download.
The Android-powered microconsole Ouya now has more than 25,000 registered developers, the company announced today, heralding the news as a "major milestone" for the platform.

It was not announced how many developers are actively creating content for the system.
In addition, the company said the Ouya's store is now filled with more than 465 games and apps for download, four months after the console's official release in June.
Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman revealed in July that27 percent of Ouya owners have purchased games, noting at the time that the figure was expected to rise.
Ther $100 Ouya console is available to purchase today. Additional controllers are available for $50.
