Actor Sam Heughan, known for his starring role on Outlander, has commented on the possibility of playing James Bond someday. Speaking to Esquire, Heughan said that he would be interested in the part, but he's wary to talk about it over fear of jinxing it.

"I think any actor would never say they're not interested," he said. "Of course, you'd be interested. I mean, it is all rumors, and sometimes you think, should I, should we even talk about it? Because you don't want to jinx it."

Heughan said the producers of the Bond film series "must be sick of it" when it comes to actors throwing their hat into the ring. But the actor said he loves James Bond as a character and would be interested in getting involved in the 007 series if it ever came to be.

October's long-delayed 007 movie No Time To Die is believed to mark the final appearance of Daniel Craig as the British super-spy. The series will surely continue in the future, but there is no word yet on which actor will play the part next.

Spider-Man actor Tom Holland also recently spoke about playing James Bond. "But I mean, ultimately, as a young British lad who loves cinema, I'd love to be James Bond. So, you know, I'm just putting that out there. I look pretty good in a suit," he said.

After numerous delays, No Time To Die is scheduled to come to theaters in October.
