The Independent Games Festival's D2D winner and the game recently selected to PAX 10, Osmos, caught me by surprise during GDC 2009. The gameplay is quite simple: you move around with your mouse projecting yourself with matter and absorbing motes in order to increase in size. The object of the game is to become the biggest, but as the levels progress, you must dramatically change size in order to complete your objectives.

The killer soundtrack composed by Gas/High Skies, Julien Neto, and Loscil provides a serine and chill atmosphere complementing a dark palette. This demo offers multiple playable levels and a tutorial creating high replay value. You can download this game and many others at the GameSpot Downloads Page!
