The new stand-alone demo features enhanced network support, and it includes two missions: city conflict and capture the flag. Players can assume the role of a member of an infantry squad and work with other players against the enemy team. The demo supports two to eight players on a LAN or Internet connection.

The company also released the final upgrade for the full version of the game. The latest upgrade includes a new multiplayer mission and improved multiplayer support. In addition, Codemasters announced the release of a downloadable version of the Operation Flashpoint Gold Upgrade, which includes the new Red Hammer campaign and is available for a nominal fee upon installation.

Operation Flashpoint was developed by Bohemia Interactive and released in August. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game and download the new multiplayer demo linked below.
