Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer announced

Codemasters has announced its upcoming action game expansion, Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer. The expansion will add a number of new missions to Codemasters' popular first-person shooter, Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis, as well as a new character, new voices, and new cutscenes.

Red Hammer will let players assume the role of Dimitri Lukin, a Soviet soldier stationed in the same islands featured in the original game. During the invasion of the islands, players find themselves stuck behind enemy lines. They must rebuild their unit, salvage equipment, and use guerrilla tactics in order to successfully escape.

Operation Flashpoint: Red Hammer, which was created in part by the QA team for the original game, is scheduled for release this December from the official Codemasters Web site in both boxed and downloadable versions for a retail price of $9.99.
