Infogrames has announced that Operation Blockade, its latest arcade-style military shooter, is now available in stores. The game lets players assume the role of a gunner on a small island outpost during an enemy invasion shortly after World War I. Players have access to a variety of vintage weapons with which to hold off enemy forces in the form of aircraft carriers, fighter planes, bombers, paratroopers, PT boats, submarines, and landing craft. In addition to a number of single-player missions, the game features a cooperative multiplayer mode.

We've posted some screenshots from the game in the gallery above. Operation Blockade was developed by Professor Frog's Workshop and Screaming Games and is now available in stores for an approximate retail price of $19.99.
