Open-World Zombie Game, Dying Light, Launching Earlier Than Expected

Too bad they canceled the 360 version (not upgrading to PS4 or XB1 till there's a game out thats worth upgrading for). Whelp, its all good it looked too much like Dead Island anyway and I hated Dead Island.

Can't wait to play this game but I'm pretty sure they moved it forward because they don't want to compete in sales with The Order 1886 or The Witcher 3. Either way it's good news.

That grappling hook is a little far fetched don't you think, I mean I'm all for the natural movement and all but come on that's up there with flinging a car at a helicopter in die hard.

Yay. Looks neat..... been following for a while. Despite the fact that people like to hafe on them now, i still love Dead Island and am grabbing riptide next time i buy anything. First game that made FPS meled combat actually feel...... right. The gameplay vids of Dying Light..... can't wait to throw on my surround sound headphones and do some parkour zombie killing goodness.

The "earlier than expected" release date better not be a push just to get the game out of the door before it's polished, just to satisfy some overly vocal stockholders.

The self promotion is way too high for me to believe on it all, just let me play it and we'll see.
That zombie thing is starting to get pretty annoying. To be different, well...need to go harder.

Wow, comparing the game to the greats (Wolf 3D, etc.). I hope they are right! This game looks awesome so far.

That Zombie mode would be cool... if you could just pop in to random peoples games :)

They are releasing it earlier to prevent a collision with the terrible looking Dead Island 2. Which comes out in Spring

i am geting confussed with the many zombie games so far but i think this is the one in a clip the guy says

"i found a little girl she seems frightened"

worse voice acting ever

Loved Mirror's Edge and I like zombie games so this has the potential to be great.

this arcade "killing" of zombies and people just turns my stomach .... I bet you will start to hear slot machine sounds when u cut 10 people's heads with one knife strike ding ding ding RAMPAGE then u can ninja flip over a fence and do a combo in mid air.... juvenile defecation at its finest ....

then u can sleep with random ho-oker and call it a day : /

this game lacks taste ... its not survival horror... the melee attacks are science fiction to say the least (even undead necks are not made from noddles) the protagonist movements are SUPER HUMAN, no one can jump and fight and run that good for that long, I almost mistook the game for spider man tbh

also the bat radar thing u get at night just kills what ever little atmosphere the game even had

this will be a boring game filled with repetitive quests ... eventually even killing zombies will get tiresome
