Open-World Zombie Game, Dying Light, Launching Earlier Than Expected

What is it so hard for gaming companies to grasp when it comes to making a "zombie" game? I want to feel that I am in the apocalypse... I want to feel fear. If I was to live the apocalypse, I really doubt I will be running around comboing zombies for no reason.

I wish they spent their time on a good story, group survival and interactions instead of how I can combo 23 zombies with a comb.

I really like the open world and the mechanics look pretty cool.. sadly, it is just one big fancy demo and I have no doubt I will be bored by the 10th minute.

I can't stand Dead Island. It lacks any sort of quality to it and just screams bargain bin right from the start.

Dying Light is Dead Island with running. I honestly don't know why people pay for this trash.

so many zombie movies/shows and games if the real thing happened NO one would really die

It's techland , bad budget games . Why bother ? Ah well some people can actualy afford to waste money ...Lucky them .

assassins creed...just with zombies....and better graphics. I liked dead island, although more copy and paste like many other games, it was still good, just didn't have a good story to it. I will be getting Dying Light sooner or later, i like open world games and to have zombies in it makes it a lot better than those cheesy resident evil games.

Too fake and "dead island-ish" for my taste. I wish they made it a bit slower when it comes to action... it's Serious Sam with zombies.

Kill, kill, kill .. run, combo.. kill, kill, kill run faster another combo.. kill, kill.. etc. No story and no sense of apocalypse.

Looking forward to this one! Had it pre-ordered for a while.

*yawn. I agree with everyone below. This Zombie fad is gotten old. Just like WWII FPS titles and Vampires.

To many other studios delayed their holiday 2014 games to February 2015, so they had to bump up the game to prevent themselves from getting overrun, eh?

If video games are really a viable training tool, this generation should be the Navy SEALs of murdering undead. I can't believe the genre has slowed up yet
