Developed by NBA 2K studio Visual Concepts, Lego 2K Drive is in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. In multiplayer, players can race with and against friends, and there is a co-op mode for up to six players. The game also supports two-player split-screen and online multiplayer.

In addition to the $70 standard edition (or $60 on last-gen systems), there will be a $100 Awesome Edition that comes with an extra vehicle, a vehicle cosmetic, an in-game minifigure, and the Year 1 Drive Pass. A $120 Awesome Rivals Edition has even more in-game content and the Year 1 Drive Pass, which includes a new biome and four post-launch batches of content. Each will contain more vehicles and themes.
