The galactic conquest board game Twilight Imperium 4th Edition is just $116 (list price is $165) at Amazon during the retailer's Black Friday sale.

Twilight Imperium has been around for over 25 years and is considered one of the best sci-fi strategy board games, but this fourth edition version includes revamped rules that help streamline the experience.

In Twilight Imperium, three to six players battle for control over a galaxy populated by various warring factions. Each player commands one of 17 alien civilizations included in the base game, each with its own play style. Some expand their empire through diplomacy and trade, while others use warfare and other violent means to take over planets. Each faction's unique technologies, spacecraft, and other abilities are represented by over 1000 plastic pieces and cards--all of which are included in the game box along with a set of multi-sided dice, a rulebook, the gameboard, and everything else you need to start playing.
