One Of The Best Oculus VR Games Is On Sale Right Now

Moss is 34% off at the Oculus Rift store right now.

Since the announcement of Half-Life: Alyx, we've seen a huge number of new users enter the virtual-reality space. However, Half-Life: Alyx is still a couple of months away from release, so if you're an Oculus owner and looking for a game to play in the meantime, then you'll be happy to hear that the excellent VR platformer, Moss, is currently on sale for $19.79 USD down from $30 in the Oculus Rift's store for the next six days.

Thanks to Oculus Link, anyone with an Oculus Quest can plug their headset into a capable PC and play the Rift version of Moss as well. There isn't much difference between the Rift and Quest versions of the game--each headset just features its own version of the Oculus Store. Unfortunately, the Quest version of Moss is not currently discounted.

As for the game itself, Moss is a great platformer that tasks you with helping out a little mouse on their adventure. You'll help it solve puzzles and fight enemies. GameSpot's Moss review scored it an 8/10. When it was exclusive to PlayStation VR, critic Alessandro Barbosa called it "one of PlayStation VR's best titles," noting that "its many strengths are married to the interactions that only full immersion can manufacture."

If you still haven't purchased a VR headset for yourself, then you should check out our round-up of the best VR headsets for 2020. We go into headsets like the Oculus Quest, Rift S, and much more, breaking down each platform's unique qualities and whether they're compatible with Half-Life: Alyx.
