Party games may be a dime a dozen on the Wii, but the latest to arrive will carry a sticker price of $10. As part of its weekly update to the Wii's online game storefronts today, Nintendo announced that Gammick Entertainment's Family & Friends Party is now available for 1,000 Wii points.

Not particularly descriptive in its description, Family & Friends Party has been billed as "an interactive board game" in which up to eight players complete in a variety of unnamed challenges. Teams take turns competing against one another in said challenges, with one or two players per side dueling it out at any given time. The downloadable game also features six different Single challenges, in which only one team competes, as well as Versus challenges that include all members of both sides.

This week's Virtual Console addition is a bit more straightforward, in that it involves a band of rebels wrecking wanton mayhem against a diabolical regime. Enix's Ogre Battle: the March of the Black Queen, which saw a limited North American release for the Super Nintendo in 1995, is now available for 800 Wii points, or $8. Built in the tradition of Japanese turn-based strategy games, Ogre Battle sees players commanding a variety of units against a host of enemies, using any number of magic items and weapons along the way.
