Observer: System Redux has been announced, with a "next-gen" reveal set to happen soon. The game has a short teaser trailer, embedded below, but it's not entirely clear what it is yet.

Observer: System Redux looks like a next-gen remake or reboot, but we can't say for sure. The game has been announced through a new Twitter account, which is promising to reveal new details soon. As Gematsu points out, the Twitter banner briefly promised an April 16 reveal, which has since been amended to read "Stay Tuned."

It's unclear what systems the game is being built for. Observer has so far released on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

The original Observer, released in 2017, is a horror adventure game from Bloober Team (Blair Witch). It involved a lot of mind-hacking and stealth, and earned a 9/10 in GameSpot's review. Rutger Hauer, who played protagonist Detective Daniel Lazarski, has passed away since the first game's release.

We'll be sure to post more details about Observer: System Redux once they are available.
