Rockstar has patched out the exploit that allowed players to explore North Yankton in GTA Online.

North Yankton was the snowy area that featured in the prologue of Grand Theft Auto 5's single-player campaign, and will now be inaccessible after the game's 1.08 update.

When using the exploit, players would be able to hop into a helicopter and fly to North Yankton--which, bizarrely, spawned as a floating city in the skies of Los Santos.

Title update 1.08 also increases the cash payouts for the losing team in team deathmatches and last team standing, as well as for multi-lap races. The patch also claims to improve the spawning in deathmatches, with Rockstar saying that spawn points were previously too far apart.

The full list of patch notes for GTA Online title update 1.08 can be read on Rockstar's site.

While the glitch will be removed, Rockstar will be adding a capture the flag mode into GTA Online tomorrow.
