This week's PlayStation Network update has plenty of content to keep gamers busy over the weekend, with the spotlight shining on an original game for the PSP and a demo for one of the most anticipated PlayStation 3 games to date.

No Caption Provided

Originally created as a PSP homebrew application in 2007, Anozor's No Gravity: The Plague of Mind ($9.99) is a 3D space shooter featuring customizable ships and 31 missions. The game lets players dogfight in first-person or third-person views, and features a variety of objectives from escort missions to Star Wars Death Star-trench-run-inspired assaults on massive space stations.

Although that's the only full game being added to the PlayStation Store this week, there are a variety of new demos that players can check out to preview upcoming games. First and foremost, Sony is releasing a free sampler for the much-anticipated first-person shooter Killzone 2. Beyond that, gamers can grab demos of Tom Clancy's HAWX and Major League Baseball 2K9.

The flood of downloadable content to the service is also continuing unabated. This week's notable arrivals include the Buzz Quiz of the Year 2008 pack ($5.99). The Buzz Quiz TV add-on tests players' global knowledge of the year that was, and can be played in any of the game's normal modes. As for PSP DLC, the NIS America action game Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero gets another stage with Flonne's Castle ($3.99). As the name of the stage implies, Disgaea character Flonne serves as the level's boss.

I might go to japan. The fact that all these awesome games are available there but not in Europe. I know it's impossible, but to see resi 4 and or 5 would be amazing. Sony Make my Dreams Come true please?

No Gravity looks incredible as far as PSP titles go. I just hope the control and gameplay can match the visuals.

Sadly, they haven't updated the PS1 classics in almost 3 months... When will we ever get classics like Tekken 3 and Metal Gear Solid?

I've already played Tom Clancy's HAWX's and Major League Baseball 2K9's demos. They're going to be awesome games! *pulls out his credit card* Tomorrow will be the day I shall spend $10 on No Gravity, $6 on Buzz and of course $4 on Prinny! It'll be worth the buy!

These are good updates for the Playstation Store especially the free sampler of Killzone 2 but, I'd like to see an update for the PS1 classics selection!

The Prinny game is awesome. I didn't think the game would have so much replay value but alas I will soon have 20 hours on it and still have a bunch of stuff to get. And the game comes with like only 8 stages so if you do the math a $4 stage with Flonne is not a bad deal if you went out and bought the game for a full 40 bucks plus tax.

This week's PlayStation Network update has plenty of content to keep gamers busy over the weekend, with the spotlight shining on an original game for the PSP and a demo for one of the most anticipated PlayStation 3 games to date.

Originally created as a PSP homebrew application in 2007, Anozor's No Gravity: The Plague of Mind ($9.99) is a 3D space shooter featuring customizable ships and 31 missions.
