Nintendo announced today that two of its key creative forces, Shigeru Miyamoto and Satoru Iwata, are scheduled to participate in the upcoming Design, Innovate, Create, and Entertain Summit (D.I.C.E.) in Las Vegas. Hosted by The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, the summit will be the first such gathering for the interactive and game industry professionals. The D.I.C.E. Summit will be held from February 28 to March 1, 2002, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Lasting two days, the summit will feature seminars by some of the video game industry's brightest participants and will kick off with the 5th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards on February 28 at the same location. This will be the first time Shigeru Miyamoto has addressed an audience since the North American launch of the GameCube on November 18. Miyamoto is currently working on Mario Sunshine and The Legend of Zelda for the GameCube, both of which are scheduled for release next year.
