Nintendo's E3 Lineup

E3 is fast approaching and Nintendo tells gamers what they can expect to see from the show floor.

Comments

The latest issue of Nintendo Power lists what appears to be Nintendo's complete lineup for E3, including a few never before heard of titles. The list reads Command & Conquer 3D, Donkey Kong 64, Eternal Darkness, F-1 World Grand Prix II, Jet Force Gemini, Ken Griffey Jr.'s Slugfest, Kobe Bryant 2, Mario Golf, The New Tetris, Ogre Battle 3, Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Stadium, Ridge Racer 64, Riqa, Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer, and Starcraft.

Not much is known about Riqa beyond that it's being developed by Bit Studio and nothing has been said about Ridge Racer 64 other than Namco is not handling the conversion. Eternal Darkness however is said to be a Resident Evil-style game by Canadian developer Silicon Knights, which was responsible for the original Legacy of Kain game. No official release dates are known for the new titles, but Riqa and Eternal Darkness appear to be headed for release next year, while Ridge Racer 64 may release this year. The PC strategy game Starcraft was announced for the Nintendo 64 at last year's E3, but details of the N64 version have not yet been revealed.

Missing from the list, but definitely due to appear at E3 is Rare's GoldenEye 007 "sequel," Perfect Dark. Expect more on these games as E3 approaches and follow the links for everything currently known about some games on the list, save for Pokemon Stadium, which is described and shown in another of today's news stories.
