Nintendo Switch's Free Memory Card Deal Returns With A Lot More Games

Nintendo is offering a nice freebie when you purchase two select digital Switch games this week.

Last month, Nintendo partnered with Walmart and GameStop to offer a free Nintendo Switch 128GB memory card with the purchase of two select digital games. Now Nintendo has linked up with Best Buy to offer the same deal until June 7. This time around, far more games are eligible for the promotion. The list of 20 games includes most of the Switch's most popular exclusives as well as some stellar third-party titles.

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
  • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  • Super Mario Odyssey
  • Splatoon 2
  • New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe
  • Arms
  • Fire Emblem Warriors
  • Mario Tennis Aces
  • Yoshi's Crafted World
  • Super Mario Party
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2
  • Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age
  • Xenoblade Chronicles 2
  • Pokemon: Let's Go
  • Pokken Tournament DX
  • Kirby Star Allies
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
  • Daemon X Machina
  • Octopath Traveler

Nintendo Switch Memory Card Deal

Every game in the promotion is listed at $60, but considering these games are rarely on sale anyway, the free microSD card is a nice perk. (As a point of reference, the same memory card is on sale for $27.74 at Amazon, usually listed at $35.) You'll receive your digital game codes via email so you can redeem in the Eshop and start playing right away. The memory card will be shipped separately with free two-day delivery.

Of course, there are plenty of other game deals available directly on the Eshop. The Resident Evil franchise is currently on sale with 50% discounts on five games, including the wonderful Resident Evil 4. Best Buy has also discounted Fire Emblem: Three Houses' physical edition to $45 today only, which is tied for the best price we've seen on the remarkable tactical RPG. And if you're looking for a new controller, Best Buy and Amazon have one of the best third-party Switch controllers on sale right now.
