It features a naked, crying Isaac, but no poop that we can see.

The next game to get an Amiibo figure might be the Nintendo Switch version of The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.

Publisher Nicalis teased the possibility on Twitter, sharing the image below of what looks like a mock-up of an Amiibo figure of Isaac.

The tweet reads, "What's that? You really want an Amiibo from The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ on Nintendo Switch?" Given the phrasing, Nicalis may simply be trying to drum up support for such a figure rather than confirming one is officially on the way.

The vast majority of Amiibo figures on the market come from first-party Nintendo games, though some third-party options have also emerged, including Shovel Knight. Highly anticipated Bayonetta and Final Fantasy VII Cloud figures, announced back in 2015, recently went up for preorder ahead of a release in July.

While Nintendo has obviously since allowed the game on its platforms, a Binding of Isaac Amiibo would be funny to see considering Nintendo blocked the game from release on 3DS back in 2012. Designer Edmund McMillen noted at the time this was due to the game's "questionable religious content." It was later released on the New 3DS and Wii U before arriving for Switch last month.
