A new week means a new batch of deals at Best Buy. But this week's sale is significantly bigger than usual, because it's Best Buy's Anniversary Event. So read on to find out what kinds of deals you can get on video games, consoles, and accessories this week at the big blue retailer. Just remember to make your purchases before next week's sale begins on August 19.

On the hardware side of things, if you buy an Xbox One console, you'll get a free game, plus $20 off an extra controller and $10 off a three- or six-month Xbox Live Gold subscription. Similarly, if you buy a PlayStation 4 console, you can save $20 on an extra DualShock 4 and $10 on a PlayStation Plus subscription. Or, if you only need an Xbox One controller, you can save $10 right now.

As for the games on sale this week, you have a good number of deals to choose from. Grand Theft Auto V is on sale for just $20, which is as low a price as you're likely to find. Middle-earth: Shadow of War is down to $30, as is Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Zombies Chronicles Edition.
