Nintendo Switch Cyber Monday Deals Still Available: First-Party Games, Joy-Cons, ANd More

Update: While many of Nintendo's official holiday deals have sold out since Black Friday, there's one major offer still available for Cyber Monday: $20 off first-party Switch games. Many stores seem to be running low on physical copies but are still offering $40 digital downloads on games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Party, and Splatoon 2. These deals are absolutely worth it, as they beat the price in the Nintendo Eshop itself.

Nintendo's official Switch bundle, which included the older model with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, sold out quickly during Black Friday, but we may see it return during Cyber Monday. However, our fingers are crossed that an even better Nintendo Switch bundle comes along with the new model.

The Switch Joy-Con and Poke Ball Plus offers were extremely popular as well during Black Friday. The Joy-Con deal is actually still available at Amazon going into Cyber Monday--you can get the gray and neon red/blue Joy-Cons for $60 a pair.

You don't see big discounts for Nintendo games and consoles as often as you do for other games and consoles, but that's why Black Friday can be crucial if you're looking for Nintendo Switch deals. Nintendo's official Black Friday page says to "check back soon for more deals," you're safe to ignore that, since we know everything the company has on sale. With that in mind, the console side of things is disappointing this year; the only official bundle comes with the older, less battery-efficient model and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is the same pack we got last year. We are seeing some neat Switch Lite deals, however, though most of them depend on the retailer and aren't nationwide.

Things are more hopeful on the game discount--we're seeing significant discounts across the board, and if you got in early you may have even gotten The Legend of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $30 (it's sold out at the price now, however).

As expected, everything that's already been announced has now been complemented by Nintendo's Black Friday Eshop sale, which includes a huge number of digital Switch and 3DS games. This includes many of the platform's biggest games from Nintendo and other publishers, as well as a ton of terrific indie games. You'll find everything from Divinity: Original Sin II on Switch to Persona Q2 on 3DS on sale.

Prior to that, Nintendo's Black Friday Eshop sale for Europe already went live and includes the expected discounts on a mix of first- and third-party games. Among them are Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Cadence of Hyrule, and Dragon Quest Builders 2, all of which will be 30% off.

Microsoft, Best Buy, and Target have also revealed the sales they'll have ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so make sure to check those out if you're shopping around.

In terms of Nintendo's official lineup of deals, first up is an assortment of Nintendo Switch games. Normally sold for $60, the following games will be available for $40 (33% off) at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart, though supplies have quickly proven to be limited. Make sure to check your local retailer. If you're not in a hurry, you can browse their online pages and be more likely to find a great discount.

While Nintendo's page says these games will be available for $40, Target's Black Friday ad has The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Tennis Aces, and Super Mario Odyssey for only $30 each as limited-time doorbuster deals. We've seen these listings pop up online, but they tend to sell out as soon as we see them, so your mileage will vary. Also, please note that more games may be on sale as well, but the Nintendo website only confirms the above titles. Finally, if you prefer to buy games digitally, the Nintendo Eshop's deals has plenty of neat discounts, though none of them are selling marquee games for $30.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers are also getting a discount. Normally sold for $80 a pair, you can pick up a new pair of either gray or neon red and blue Joy-Cons for $60 (25% off). This offer will be available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Target.

For those who play Pokemon Go or the Pokemon: Let's Go Switch games, the Poke Ball Plus is a handy accessory for storing and catching Pokemon. It also comes with Mew, a mythical Pokemon that you can transfer into Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu or Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee. Normally sold for $50, the Poke Ball Plus will be on sale for just $20 (60% off) at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.

Finally, if you were hoping for a price drop on the Nintendo Switch itself, you might be out of luck. Nintendo is offering the Switch bundled with a free digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for its full price of $300. If you have a good memory, you might recall this is the exact same bundle offered during Black Friday 2018. The difference this year, however, is that an upgraded Switch model with better battery life has since been released, but this particular bundle includes the original model without that improvement.

That said, if you're interested in Mario Kart and don't mind forgoing the extra battery life, this is still a solid deal. While not included in Nintendo's Black Friday game deals, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe usually goes for around $50 on Amazon and elsewhere, so you're saving a good wad of cash on this bundle. The console deal will be available at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart, though it's currently sold out at most outlets.
