Nintendo of Canada holds a Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze contest for counting frozen bananas

Ahead of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze's February 21 release, Nintendo of Canada is holding a chilly, banana-counting contest. If you can guess how many bananas are sitting suspended in the giant block of ice above, you may be able to win a trip to Whistler Blackcomb as well as a copy of Tropical Freeze and a system to play it on.

According to the contest's YouTube page, the grand prize is:

  • An adventure trip for 4 to Whistler Blackcomb in BC, including flights, accommodation, lift tickets, and equipment rentals
  • Private lesson
  • One Wii U system
  • One Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze game
  • One Wii Remote Plus controller and one Nunchuk controller

There will also be five secondary prices each consisting of:

  • One Wii U
  • One Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze game
  • One Wii Remote Plus controller and one Nunchukâ„¢ controller
