Nintendo lays out first-party 3DS lineup

I farted.

Mario Kart, Pilotwings, Star Fox, Nintendogs, Ocarina of Time, and a 3DS (of course)...Well I have my list :D

This seriously makes me want to get one :(

I was considering getting a new DS, (my other two are busted) but after seeing all the new games being prepared for this one, I think I'll wait for it. It's time for a new Paper Mario. :D

Any news on a price? Hopefully $199 or less.

If Nintendo announced that all these game would come out on launch date I would have a heart attack. Nintendo probably realized that they would LITERALLY kill the crowd if the announced any more awesomeness in one session. So they announced/revealed a few more titles afterwords. Nintendo won E3. YAYS. Going to go broke if I don't start saving.

I must start saving.

Can't wait to get my hands on this and the many games it will launch with. Darn now I must start saving my money again.

@manga777 I don't give a damn about 3D either, but this is supposed to be a successor to the DS, not just a revision. You can expect a huge leap in graphics quality on this system, some say it even comes close to the Wii. Of course there aren't that many details yet, but I believe that it will be worth the price, even without interest in the 3D (I sure as hell will be turning it off on every game except Star Fox 64).

Yes, the 3DS definitely appears promising, I hope after E3, the Big 'N' starts allowing preorders of the unit itself with the game. Paper Mario's a definite plus, but Kid Icarus' return is what has hooked me to the unit.

Mario Kart has to be the big one for me but Paper Mario is good to. Not to bothered by the remakes but I am happy with the line up they have.

So like how the GBA was like a portable SNES, is this going to be like a portable Nintendo 64

I still think they are unveiling a new ds way to soon, but i'll keep an eye for the 3ds.

Will these games only work with a 3DS or can I just not spend 200 dollars for a new ds? 3d is good but I don't know if it is worth it unless it is necessary. @Ovirew I think they sadly are ports because it says star fox 64 instead of just star fox but the paper Mario may be new and I hope I'm wrong

I want to see the 3D for myself at a game kiosk it might be worth getting.

Paper Mario!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dude, that was the only thing that was missing for me from Nintendo's E3. And I just got it! Nintendo= Awesomeness :D

i really hope these aren't ports of starfox 64 and paper mario. We want brand new games. And the 3DS is capable of handling more powerful graphics than the N64 so...

My question is when will the 3DS be coming out? Frankly it looks like it may not come out for another year.

Not too keen on 3D at all my only experiences with it has left me with a headache so bad it feels as though ive smashed my head against a concret wall multiple times. That said I will try it out when someone I knows gets 1

3DS is really the highlight of today and maybe of this E3! With all the games announced: Starfox, Pilot Wings, Paper Mario,The Legend of Zelda etc... and all the first/third party support it will get it just shows how much potential Nintendo's new hand-held system has. And I just can't wait to get my hands on it :D !

@blankshore: Are you sure that's Ocarina of Time? I will scream if it is. I missed out on Master Quest or whatever it's called and have really been itching to play OoT again.

@ mariostar0001 The DS has 2 Advance Wars games. Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Advance Wars: Day of Ruin. Or did you mean you hope it gets another?

The thing this doesn't mention is if the new takes on the old franchises are just remakes or are actual new games. For example, I loved Paper Mario back in the day, and I'd love a new one, but if it's just a 3D remake, meh. I can live without. Anyone know which it is? It is nice to see though that it appears the 3DS will have a number of games ready when it comes out, rather than just being an empty system.
