A panel of judges from Facebook and Nintendo will decide the winning level, which will be released for free to players when the game comes out.

Super Mario Maker launches on September 11 for Wii U. It lets players create and play levels based on Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, or New Super Mario Bros. U. User-created levels can then be shared online with other players. You can read our E3 impressions of the game here.
