Nintendo celebrates Mario Party: Island Tour with launch trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer for Mario Party: Island Tour, which launched on 3DS Nov. 22. You can purchase the game from retailers or from the 3DS eShop for $39.99.

Much like the other Mario Party game, in Island Tour players race friends or AI players across a board-game-style map, playing minigames for prizes and attempting to hinder other players throughout. The launch trailer shows off new boards, minigames and the new single player mode, Bowser's Tower.

Our Gamespot reviewer though that "It's not a perfect party by any means, but some good design considerations, better-than-average variety, and always-enjoyable Mario thematics put Mario Party: Island Tour a few notches above your average video game bash-in-a-box."
