Nintendo and Hudson Join Forces
A joint venture will develop N64 titles based on Game Boy games.
TOKYO - Nintendo has teamed up with Hudson. The companies have jointly established a software developing company called Manegi. The company's capital stock will be valued at 1 billion yen, and that stock is to be split between Nintendo (who will get 60 percent) and Hudson (who will get 40 percent). The company is located in Tokyo's Taito district, and the president of the company will be former Nintendo employee Hiroshi Ikeda.
Manegi will develop N64 games based on Game Boy titles and has plans to provide know-how and tools to other software companies to stimulate the N64 market in Japan.
