Nintendo 64 Tony Hawk 2 Cancelled
Bad news for N64 owners - Activision officially announced that the N64 version of Tony Hawk 2 is canned.
Activision announced that it has cancelled Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 for the Nintendo 64. According to the company, THPS2 was being planned for a release this fall, but Activision canned it so that it could promote the current version of the game throughout the holiday season. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater released on the Nintendo 64 in March.
Despite being cancelled for the Nintendo 64, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 is still planned for release on the PlayStation, Dreamcast, PC, Game Boy Color, and PlayStation2 platforms later this year. For more information on the sequel, check out our preview linked to the right.
