Though off to a slow start, Sony's PlayStation Network online store continues to get traction as downloadable games, demos, and trailers have been populating its virtual shelves. The store is getting another delivery of items today, as Sony is adding a pair of demos and four trailers to its stock.

"Can't... breathe..."

Due out later today is a demo of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Tecmo's slicing-and-dicing adventure featuring master ninja Ryu Hayabusa. Sigma is the third iteration of the Ninja Gaiden game, following the original Xbox installment and its redux Ninja Gaiden Black. The sample will support 1080p and feature new weapons and combos not featured in previous Ninja Gaiden games, according to Tecmo. Ninja Gaiden Sigma is due out this June.

Those who prefer their slicing accompanied by topspin rather than the blood of fallen enemies can take the court with a demo of Sega's Virtua Tennis 3. Details on the demo's contents weren't tossed out, but the retail version features singles and doubles action starring real-world tennis pros, as well as an assortment of new minigames. Virtua Tennis 3 was released on March 20. For more information, read GameSpot's previous coverage.

A quartet of game trailers are also scheduled to be uploaded to PSN today. PS3 owners can now get a look at the arcade remake Gauntlet II, the Vin Diesel-powered The Wheelman, John Woo's action-packed Stranglehold, and EA's The Godfather.
