NHL 17 Beta Goes Live Today for Some Players

The NHL 17 beta officially starts tomorrow, and here's how you can access it.

If you signed up for the NHL 17 beta by July 7, then you'll gain access to it starting tomorrow. However, you can play it today if you're also an NHL Insider--a fancy title for someone who receives EA Sports NHL newsletters.

If you signed up, you'll have three NHL 17 beta codes in your email inbox. You only need one of these, so you can pass the other two to friends. You'll have to enter the codes into the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store to start the download. Once it's finished installing, you can get on the ice and start playing.

The modes included in tomorrow's beta are Hockey Ultimate Team, where you collect hockey cards to build a team you can take to the ice; EA Sports Hockey League, a mode that has you creating a team and facing others online; and Online Versus, which has you going up against other players in a one-on-one game.

This is your last chance to play before the game launches on September 13 for PS4 and Xbox One. The beta lasts until August 4.
