Next Hitman Elusive Target: Here's Everything You Need to Know

The next Hitman Elusive target, a limited-time challenge where players have one chance to complete a hit before it's gone for good, will be available in the game tomorrow, July 1.

The target, titled "The Gunman," will launch at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET and will be seen in the game's Featured Hub. This mission takes place in the Marrakesh area, so you need to have that episode to participate, and it ends after 72 hours.

The official end-time for the Elusive target is Sunday, July 3, at 5 AM PT / 8 AM ET.

Special rewards are offered for all Elusive targets, and this is no different for The Gunman. Players who successfully bring him down will earn some items based on Hitman Absolution, including Agent 47's "signature" suit (featuring an ICA tie pin) and his black leather gloves. The last Hitman Elusive target mission was held earlier this month.

During a recent interview with GameSpot, lead online designer Torben Ellert suggested future Elusive targets could be more challenging than those we've seen so far.

"We probably want the first couple at least to be quite approachable experiences, because it's really important that we make it clear that these are not impossible missions," he said. "Yes, they're tense, because if you screw up, you're finished. But they're totally doable. I think we need to keep that for the next couple, but as we go down the line, we will improve on their perceptiveness, where it makes narrative sense."
