Championship Sprint arrives on PS3
The latest retro entry for the PlayStation 3 online store is almost here, as Sony Online Entertainment has announced that it will release Championship Sprint to North American gamers tomorrow. The game's arrival on the PlayStation Network for $4.99 will bring SOE up to date on all its announced retro offerings for the PS3.

Mushroom Men sprout on DS, Wii
When Gamecock Media Group formed earlier this year, it offered sketchy details on its opening slate of titles. One of those games, Red Fly Studio's Mushroom Men, was announced as only being for a next-generation platform and a handheld gaming system. Today Gamecock removed some of the mystery surrounding the game, confirming that it will arrive on the Nintendo DS and the Wii in the fall of 2008. It had previously been expected in the spring of 2008.

Naruto RPG coming to DS
Ubisoft's upcoming Xbox 360 actioner Naruto: Rise of the Ninja may be capturing most of the gaming buzz surrounding the series, but it's far from the only excursion into gaming for the popular anime. D3Publisher of America and Tomy today announced that they would release Naruto: Path of a Ninja (working title) for the Nintendo DS this fall. The game will allow players to play as six characters from the series, and will be the first Naruto role-playing game to arrive in North America.
