Forza 2 demo revving engines
Xbox 360 owners who have an eye on Forza Motorsport 2 but would like a chance to kick the tires and take it for a spin before committing to a purchase may want to load up on caffeinated beverages. According to a moderator on the game's official forums, the demo "should" go live tonight around 11 p.m. Pacific time.

GRAW2 gets retro maps
Everything old is new again, as the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Throwback Pack is now available on the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace. Tactical shooter fans who download the seven-map pack will find it contains "re-mastered" versions of playfields from previous Ghost Recon games. The Throwback Pack costs 800 Marketplace Points ($10).

Activision teases next Spider-Man game
It's been less than a week since Activision blitzed retailers with a full line of games based on the blockbuster film Spider-Man 3--which got less than stellar reviews. Nonetheless, the publisher is already turning the promotional gears for its next game starring the friendly neighborhood arachnid. A new teaser site has gone up for Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, with a Fall 2007 release date and the tagline "A new twist on the legend. A new take on the movies..." No platforms are mentioned, and the Entertainment Software Rating Board notice on the page says the game has not yet been rated.
