New Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Trailer Shows Off Familiar Characters
A new trailer for the Zelda musou sequel shows off some of the allies that will help you fight against Calamity Ganon.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity--the unexpected sequel to 2014's Zelda Dynasty Warriors-like Hyrule Warriors--was just revealed a few weeks ago, but we're already getting a look at some of the key supporting cast. In a short new trailer, Nintendo gives us a look at some of the non-playable characters who will help you in your struggle, including fan-favorite Sheikah researcher Purah and the King of Hyrule.
Unlike the original Hyrule Warriors, which took place in a separate canon from the main Zelda timeline, Age of Calamity will focus on the battle with Calamity Ganon that took place 100 years prior to the events of Breath of the Wild. As such, the game will feature several characters that figured heavily into the events of that game. Robbie and Purah look a bit different than their Breath of the Wild incarnations, but that's understandable, given the 100-year-gap. (Then again, Purah looks significantly younger in Breath of the Wild, due to an experiment gone awry.)

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will release on November 20 for Nintendo Switch. Age of Calamity will give players with Breath of the Wild saves an extra item, so make sure you still have it. The game will have many playable characters, including Link, Zelda, the Four Champions from Breath of the Wild, and a young Impa.
