Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity--the unexpected sequel to 2014's Zelda Dynasty Warriors-like Hyrule Warriors--was just revealed a few weeks ago, but we're already getting a look at some of the key supporting cast. In a short new trailer, Nintendo gives us a look at some of the non-playable characters who will help you in your struggle, including fan-favorite Sheikah researcher Purah and the King of Hyrule.

Unlike the original Hyrule Warriors, which took place in a separate canon from the main Zelda timeline, Age of Calamity will focus on the battle with Calamity Ganon that took place 100 years prior to the events of Breath of the Wild. As such, the game will feature several characters that figured heavily into the events of that game. Robbie and Purah look a bit different than their Breath of the Wild incarnations, but that's understandable, given the 100-year-gap. (Then again, Purah looks significantly younger in Breath of the Wild, due to an experiment gone awry.)
