If you've been toying around with the idea of getting into an MMO, but you can't stand the idea of running around in a pair of silly medieval trousers or slaying an orc with a wooden kitchen knife, Jumpgate Evolution may be the game for you. It's an MMO set in space, but it's also a dog-fighting game where you take control of your own thoroughly customized spacecraft. It's built in the image of old-school space flight games like Wing Commander, and offers an easy learning curve that won't present players with too many flight mechanics or complex techniques.

We've covered the game several times before, but the above video comes direct from this weekend's New York Comic-Con and features a member of the NetDevil development team guiding us through the game. Give it a watch so you can have a look at the vibrant graphics in motion. They're pretty slick. For more on Jumpgate, see some of our previous coverage . No official release has been announced, but the game is currently in friends and family beta testing.
