World of Warcraft players can now buy a new mount and pet to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Blizzard Entertainment has announced.

Players can purchase the Alterac Brew Pup pet ($10) today and $5 will go to Make-A-Wish, a United States-based charity that grants wishes to children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.

Additionally, players can buy Blizzard's first-ever charity bundle, featuring the Pup and an all-new Enchanted Fey Dragon flying mount for $30, with $5 going to charity. The Enchanted Fey Dragon mount is also available for purchase by itself for $25, though no portions of the proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish.

The special World of Warcraft Make-A-Wish charity drive lasts until December 31, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. PDT.

This is not the first time Blizzard has held a charity drive to support Make-A-Wish. In 2010, Blizzard gave $1.1 million to the foundation, before donating another $800,000 in 2011 from sales of an in-game pet.

Blizzard also has announced a charitable giving effort to support those affected by the typhoon that recently devastated portions of the Philippines. The game developer is matching employee donations for typhoon relief made to the American Red Cross.

The Warlords of Draenor expansion for World of Warcraft was announced during BlizzCon earlier this month. For more on the MMO's fifth major expansion, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
