The horror comedy based on Ubisoft's 2016 video game got a new look at Ubisoft's E3 showcase.

Werewolves Within, the horror-comedy based on Ubisoft's 2016 game of the same name, got a fresh sneak peek at Ubisoft Forward. The short trailer shows off some gags and plot details led by Sam Richardson (I Think You Should Leave).

Werewolves Within will hit theaters on June 25, followed by on-demand services on July 2.

The trailer appears styled like a whodunit in a sleepy northern town where Richardson plays a police officer. But there are some thrills as well, as we see plenty of screams, startled jumps, and a reference to a dead body in the vicinity.

Ubisoft has been expanding its entertainment plans and took a moment during its Ubisoft Forward presentation to cover some of what it has in the current slate, including the currently-airing second season of Mythic Quest on Apple TV. The studio is also developing a romantic comedy starring a video game reviewer.
