New Warcraft III Screenshots

Today, Blizzard posted five new Warcraft III screenshots on its home page. The new shots show off the updated camera angle and look for the game. Gone is the close-up, over-the-shoulder look, and in its place is a more traditional top down view. An interface has yet to be finalized for the game, so the screenshots are full screen views of the action.

The five screenshots show snow and grassland environments, and depict several of the orc Horde and human Alliance units. One of the screenshots shows two great lightning bolts searing the ground near a band of human troops, while another screenshot displays the aftermath of the attack. The two lightning bolts are from the call lightning spell that is currently in the orc shaman's arsenal.

Other screenshots show some human units traversing a snowy hill, a team of dwarven rifleman fighting an orcish Tauren lord, and some human knights fighting a band of enemy units.
