New Uncharted 4 Multiplayer Patch Adjusts Mystical Prices and Balances Weapons

Uncharted 4 may be known for its single-player, but it also has exciting mutliplayer. The online mode has received a brand new update that intends to balance the action by reducing the number of mines you can use, increasing some guns' stats, and adjusting the price of certain Mysticals.

Weapons set to be balanced include mines, which can only be placed two at a time instead of the previous three. Guns that see their fire rate increased include the Jackal and Mettler M-30, while the Aegis 9 mm's fire rate and effective range have decreased. The Spezzotti 12 Gauge's headshot damage multiplier has increased, and the MP34a's ammo capacity has been reduced from 120 to 90.

The Cintamani Stone Mystical prices have been adjusted. It's still set at the $400 starting price, but now increases to $700, $1,050, and $1,400 on subsequent purchases--each of the three prices has been raised by at least $100 from its original. The Staff of Ayar Manco had its starting price raised, while its third, fourth, and fifth-use prices are all lower than the original's costs. The patch also decreases the chance of an idol getting duplicated, reduces the price of single-use Booster chests from 150 to 100 Relics, and lowers the effectiveness of blindfiring with all weapons and mods.

The changes are all great. Blindfire Bitches are way too OP as it is. Blindfire as an option is ok, but having people using it as their main way of dealing with other players and having a clear advantage over people that aim is ridiculous.

When does this patch arrive though? I have it only partially implemented. The Jackal is now free and the shotgun has more range (still sucks though) but it's still 6 LP and 1-use boosters are still 150 relics. So it seems i only have like half of the changes.

I didn't even know anyone played the mutiplayer. I think it was horrible, the game was just OK anyway. I already took it in for store credit weeks ago. Why all the fuss?

@livedreamplay: i don't have any friends who are playing the game, i am playing alone and it's still fun, i can easily say that i spent more time online than when i completed the story on hard... :)

@s_moreta: i had to because i have spent considerably more time with the campaign since i initially started it on hard and died a lot until i figured out what to do, i earned the bragging rights... :D

Fixing the fire rate of a god damn 9mm pistol it has a high fire rate because it's firing a highly controllable round that and it depends on how quick you can pull the trigger in succession.

@ I'm loving the multiplayer ranked mode matches. They are so much more intense than I had originally expected, and a blast to play. Well that is unless your stuck with teammates who are more of a problem than anything. Ran into a few of these types myself

Woah, this game looks ridiculously colorful (compared to what I expected) in the image there (not a bad thing). From the "chase" scene I saw (the one from E3), I expected it to be "darker". But the green is green, blue is blue, nice!

PS:There are games that are "darker" than real life, I thought it was going to be the case for this one as well (hey, I am not used to the Uncharted series, MMMKAY!?).
