New Transformers: Battlegrounds Trailer Shows Off Gameplay And Giant Robot T-Rex Grimlock

After a June reveal, the first gameplay trailer for Transformers: Battlegrounds has been revealed ahead of the game's October 23 release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Inspired by the latest animated incarnation of the franchise, Transformers: Cyberverse, the new trailer features fan-favorite Autobots such as Bumblebee, Windblade, and Optimus Prime as they battle Megatron and his Decepticon forces.

Publisher Outright Games has also unveiled a deluxe edition of the game, which includes four Autobot skin packs and an exclusive arcade game mode. Called CUBE, this mode features Autobot and Decepticon forces battling for control of a cube in one of four unique arenas.

Preorders for Transformers: Battlegrounds will open from October 2 and will give players a 10% discount on the digital deluxe console edition, as well as Nemesis Prime and Goldfire Bumblebee exclusive skins. The regular edition will retail for $40.
