The beloved classic action franchise ToeJam & Earl appears to be making a comeback.
Writing on Facebook, original ToeJam & Earl designer Greg Johnson and his development shop HumanNature Studios (Doki Doki Universe) revealed the news.
"Greetings from Funkotron! We haven't been posting as often lately because we've gotten really busy with the new TJ&E game," the studio said. "We will be making some announcements in a probably 3 or 4 weeks, when we have something we can show, and will be able to share lots of information with you."
The original ToeJam & Earl was released for the Sega Genesis back in 1991. This was followed up by a 1993 platforming sequel called Panic in Funkotron (see above), and then ToeJam & Earl III: Mission to Earth in 2002.
We've been waiting a long time for a new ToeJam & Earl game. What would you like to see from a new entry in the series? Let us know in the comments below!
