Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's latest DLC character, Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, is now live alongside the game's 7.0 update, but that's not all that's new for the mascot fighter. Nintendo is also offering another free Smash Ultimate gift for Switch Online subscribers.

Right now, NSO members can grab another Spirit Board Challenge Pack for the fighting game. This pack contains a handful of items that will help you level your Spirits up quickly.

Spirit Board Challenge Pack 4 includes the following:

  • 3,000 SP
  • 100 Snack (S)
  • 30 Snack (M)
  • 5 Snack (L)

As was the case with previous Spirit Board Challenge Packs, this freebie is only available for those with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription; you won't be able to claim the pack during a free trial period. To download the gift, head into the Eshop and select the Nintendo Switch Online option from the left sidebar--the pack will be listed under exclusive offers. You can also select the Eshop icon from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's main menu and see the pack listed with the game's other DLC.

As for Byleth, the Fire Emblem protagonist marks the fifth and final character coming to Smash Bros. Ultimate as part of the game's first Fighters Pass. The pass costs $25 USD and also includes Persona 5's Joker, Dragon Quest's Hero, Banjo and Kazooie, and Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard. A sixth DLC character, Piranha Plant, is also available but is not included as part of the Fighters Pass.

While Byleth marks the end of the first Fighters Pass, more DLC characters are on the way. During the Byleth reveal presentation earlier this month, game director Masahiro Sakurai confirmed that six more fighters are in development for Smash Bros. Ultimate, and they'll be bundled together in the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which costs $30. Sakurai says all the fighters have already been selected, so please don't bother him with requests.
