A new international trailer for the upcoming Star Wars spinoff Rogue One has been released. While much of it can be seen in last week's second US trailer, there is some new footage, including a hint about main character Jyn Erso's family. Check it out below, via Comicbook.com:

Rogue One is set before the original Star Wars, and focuses upon a group of mercenaries who are hired to capture the plans to the Death Star. It is directed by Godzilla's Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, and Mads Mikkelsen.

The film has undergone extensive reshoots this summer. Earlier this month it was revealed that Tony Gilroy, the Bourne writer who was heavily involved with the reshoots, would also be overseeing the film's post-production. THR reports that Gilroy will be working alongside Edwards to finish the film, performing a similar uncredited role to the one he did on Godzilla.

Rogue One hits theaters on December 16, 2016.
