Far Cry 3's Vaas was a seriously scary bad guy. Actor Michael Mando made us believe the villain's insanity in 2012, and now he's set to appear in next year's Spider-Man: Homecoming in an unknown role.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Mando (who also appeared in Breaking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul) will join the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, and Marisa Tomei, who appeared in Captain America: Civil War as Aunt May. Her nephew, Peter Parker (aka Spider-Man), is played by Tom Holland, who also appeared in Civil War.

Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters on July 7, 2017. Filming started this week in Atlanta, and you can check out some on-set photos here.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a collaborative project between Marvel and Sony, which owns the rights to make movies featuring the wall-crawler. Despite Sony's ownership, Marvel president Kevin Feige has confirmed that Marvel has complete creative control over Homecoming.

"Well, I've known all those people [at Sony] for a very long time. Amy Pascal, Tom Rothman, who runs Sony now, I've known for years. So, it’s been great," Feige said. "They really are supportive in allowing us to make the creative decisions to make that movie, but they've been great partners. So far so good on that movie."

Earlier this month, we saw some concept art for Sam Raimi's canceled Spider-Man 4. It was set to feature the Vulture as its main villain with minor appearances from other baddies, such as Mysterio, Shocker, and Rhino.
