New Sonic Details

Sonic Team releases new screenshots of Sonic's big city adventure and the A-life system.

Comments

Sonic Adventure keeps getting closer to its release, and yet Sonic Team keeps pumping more performance and adding more things to it. This time around, Yuji Naka & Co. have added people walking in the Station Square level, and adding detail such as papers that Sonic can pick up (and apparently swing at the camera). The people are a new mix to Sonic's universe, in a game that has never had any other human characters - unless you can call Dr. Robotnik "human."

The second batch of screenshots shows little A-Lives, or Chaos, being stuffed into the VMS in a virtual world. The green field is likely the training ground where Sonic can teach an A-Life to perform different tasks.
